Since 1982, Breakwaters authors and delegates have shaped the marine engineering sector, by unveiling innovative technologies, assessing techniques, making formal recommendations and providing in-depth technical analyses.

Conference outcomes have translated into guidance documents and manuals defining industry standard practice for 30 years.

Organisations including Balfour Beatty, BAM Nuttall, Costain, CH2M, HR Wallingford, Arup, WSP, Atkins, Mott MacDonald, Royal HaskoningDHV, Deltares, Jacobs, Boskalis, Van Oord, Environment Agency, SEPA, EDF, Rijkwaterstaat, University of Edinburgh, Shoreline Management Partnership, University of Exeter, Wyre Borough Council and more have attended ICE Breakwaters.
